Eggplant Gruyere


Italian Bread, Bravas Sauce


There was no parmesan in the house, substituting for the win!!!


Eggplant is oven baked, 450F for 45 - 50 minutes after being brushed with olive oil. No bread crumbs on eggplant, bread was moved to underneath. Bravas sauce from the freezer (I love having basics frozen and ready to go), nuked, spread inbetween the layers of eggplant and cheese.


A quick broil in the oven (bread was also toasted, keeping soggy to a minimum), done!
