the latest installment of the popular reality show, on Sunday, left
some viewers utterly outraged, with many accusing show bosses of being
'cruel' to animals.
As
the nation tuned in to watch Martin Roberts and Adam Thomas take on the
Pick and Crit challenge, many expressed their disbelief at how the show
was treating living creatures.
'What kind
of sicko came up with this?': The latest installment of I'm A Celebrity,
on Sunday, left some viewers outraged, with many accusing show bosses
of being 'cruel' to animals.
The
Bushtucker Trial, which sees celebs taking on often stomach-churning
challenges to win food, saw Martin, 53, and Adam, 28, arrived in the
jungle sweet shop.
Joining the show's hosts Ant and Dec in the elaborate set, the pair were told that the first part of the task involved 'holding' critters in their mouths for a time period, 30 seconds.
Many viewers were left fuming with the nature of the challenge, with one user, @megan_daisy, summing up the mood online.
She
wrote: 'Sorry but I really don't understand how I'm A Celeb gets away
with some of the s*** they put animals through for entertainment.'

in their mouths for round four.
