Tourist bitten by crocodile as she tried to take a SELFIE with the giant reptile in Thai national park

A French woman is recovering in hospital after she was bitten by a crocodile while foolishly trying to get a selfie with it.

Benetulier Lesuffleur, 46, was bitten on the leg after tripping over next to the crocodile while taking the picture.

She had been at the Kho Yai National Park, in central Thailand, with her husband when she saw the crocodile in a pond.

She ignored warning signs and went off the trail to try and get a selfie with the crocodile

The woman was taken away on a stretcher and is now recovering in hospital

Pictures show her being pulled from the water’s edge with a bandage on her leg.
She is now in hospital recovering from her injuries but is expected to make a full recovery.
