A French woman is recovering in hospital after she was bitten by a crocodile while foolishly trying to get a selfie with it.
Benetulier Lesuffleur, 46, was bitten on the leg after tripping over next to the crocodile while taking the picture.
She had been at the Kho Yai National Park, in central Thailand, with her husband when she saw the crocodile in a pond.

The woman was taken away on a stretcher and is now recovering in hospital.

Pictures show her being pulled from the water’s edge with a bandage on her leg.
She is now in hospital recovering from her injuries but is expected to make a full recovery.
Khao Yai National Park covers more than 2,000 square kilometers of forest and grassland in central Thailand.
