Group feeds 5,000 school children

No fewer than 5000 pupils from Oshodi Local Government area in Lagos State have benefited from Meals for All Programe, a non-governmental organisation aimed at helping the children and improving nutritional and health education in the society. The event witnessed large turnout of children, teachers and parents from all across the state.

Mrs. Funke Sodade, Executive Coordinator Meals for All Programe urged kids to have fun despite the economic recession in the country. Schools that participated include Mafoluku Primary school, New Estate Primary school, Bashiru Dania Primary school, Aregbe Primary school, Oshodi High school, Ideal Primary school, State Primary School and Local Government Primary school.


The pupils were given noodles by Dufil Prima Group, chocolate drinks from Promasidor Company, school bags, pencils, biros, erasers drinks, and rice among other gifts.

Sodade disclosed that the foundation focuses on free feeding programe for school kids, nutrition, counseling, health education and food Items to improve the quality of the kid’s lives and families.She also urged government to provide and implement several programmes for vulnerable children to enable them contribute their.
