Oluwatoyin Sanni (born 10 September 1965) is a Lawyer, Chartered Secretary, Stockbroker, and Author. She is currently the Group CEO of United Capital Plc, a leading African investment banking and financial services Group providing capital financing solutions to African governments, companies, and individuals. The Group consists of the following business divisions: Investment Banking, Asset Management, Securities Trading, and Trustee Services. She is also the Pastor-in-Charge at Life Gate Area of Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG).
Early life and education
Born into the family of Rotimi Alabi Adeboye, a civil servant and accountant and Elizabeth Jokotola Adeboye, a civil servant and business woman,Toyin achieved her first Degree from the University of Ife, Ile-Ife, and also holds a Masters Degree, LLM (Hons), from the University of Lagos. She holds Professional qualifications from the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators (I.C.S.A.) UK, and is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Stockbrokers (C.I.S.) Nigeria. Toyin has also participated in training programs including the Harvard Business School Disruptive Innovation Executive Education program, Global Strategic Leadership at the Wharton Business School, Investment Banking and Project Finance courses of the Euromoney Group, Portfolio Management Academy at the New York Institute of Finance, and the Peter Drucker Management Program at Robert Kennedy College, Switzerland.Career
Prior to her appointment as the Group CEO of United Capital, Toyin Sanni was CEO, United Capital Trustees Limited (formerly known as UBA Trustees Limited)– a subsidiary of United Capital Plc and a market leader in the Trustees business. Her career accomplishments include establishment of UBA Global Investor Services, President Association of Investment Advisers and Portfolio Managers, President, Association of Corporate Trustees, Council Member, Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators Nigeria, Associate of the Institute of Directors, Nigeria, Member, National Bond Steering Committee, Member, West African Capital Markets Integration Technical Committee and Chairperson, Custody Sub-Committee of the Capital Market.
