Smoky Avocado Burgers topped with a Pineapple Pepper Relish! These burgers don’t run short on flavor, they are juicy, tender, mouthwatering basically everything you want in a Burger + more!
Woohoo! Happy Memorial Day weekend! It’s the first official “holiday” summer party of the year! (happy dance)
Which means pool party, living in your swim suit all day, Hamburgers, Grilled Corn, endless Cocktails, and finishing the night off with S’mores and fireworks! Or at least that’s how we do it here in Texas!
Any excuse to use fireworks!
On a side note, did you know that May is National Burger Month!?
I totally didn’t know that until recently! So of course I HAD to make sure I gave ya’ll at least one burger recipe before the month is up. The timing couldn’t be more perfect considering this weekend you’ll be grilling, and if you’re not you will be now after seeing this Show Stopper of a burger!
When it comes to burgers the one non-negotiable element is Avocado!
I really wanted to make something that was different than most burgers I make but still healthy… or as healthy as a burger can be.
This Smoky Avocado Burger is rubbed down with a smoky spice blend, charred on the grill, and topped with AVOCADO (duh) and a sweet Pineapple Pepper Relish that you’ll want to hoard all to yourself!
The flavor combinations bursting from this burger are mind blowing! It is definitely unlike any burger you’ve ever had!
It’s WAY BETTER!
If the pictures and description haven’t convinced you to give this burger a try … I don’t know what will. All I can say is, your burger life will be changed forever after indulging
Now, just to make sure you have options, last year I did a week’s worth of burger recipes –> BBQ Chicken Burger, Southwestern Turkey Burger, and an Italian Cheeseburger with Sun-dried Tomatoes & Basil Aioli (that one is my favorite) so you have NO excuse!
Bon Appetit my friends and Happy Grilling!
